Feel Empowered in Your Role Again
Culturally attuned therapy for 1st and 2nd gen South Asian and professional women of color navigating burnout, identity stress, and emotional overload in New Jersey.
You don’t have to carry it all alone — we’re here to help you heal, reclaim your voice, and thrive.
Tired of feeling burned out and never enough?
You’re trying to be everything—the high achiever, the strong daughter, the supportive partner, the perfect mom, the loyal friend, the one who always holds it together.
But inside, you feel like you’re always behind.
Like you’re performing in every role but thriving in none.
Like no matter how much you give, it’s never enough.
And beneath it all? Guilt. Exhaustion. The quiet fear that maybe it’s just you.
Let us be clear: it’s not you.
It’s the impossible expectations placed on women of color—in your family, your culture, and this world.

You deserve a space where you feel seen and heard.
At We Rise Therapy & Wellness, we specialize in supporting 1st and 2nd gen and women of color who are tired of hiding their pain just to be accepted.

I attended the BIPOC Women's Empowerment Workshop, and it was exactly what I needed. I often forget to slow down, meditate, and give my nervous system the care it deserves. This experience was truly phenomenal, and Neha’s soothing voice is just perfect.Posted on Rabeea TahirTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Neha is amazing! She is thoughtful, mature and has a natural way of leading the conversation while putting you at ease. She helped me understand and unpack nuances of certain behaviors and thought patterns in a way that was incredibly perceptive and insightful. She also helped provide tools and strategies to navigate challenging or complex situations, which equips you in practical scenarios.Posted on DivyaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The therapist I had projected A LOT on to me maybe because of some cultural similarities we shared. She constantly would suggest I use her friend’s reiki business or her own coaching business and not therapy. Would patronize and minimize my problems. Made a lot of generalizing assumptions about my background. There were definitely moments it felt xenophobic because she was raised in the US and I wasn’t. Would get very visibly frustrated and somehow bring her past into conversations and compare how if I acted the way she did, I wouldn’t be in the situation I was in at that time. It wasn’t really helpful to be very honest maybe just not a good fit for me. A friend of mine went to a different therapist from this practice and she had similar experience of the therapist projecting on to her, minimizing her issues. She also had cultural similarities with her therapist.
