Hello! I’m a therapist at We Rise Therapy and Wellness. I received my undergraduate in Social Welfare and graduate degree in Social Work from University of Wisconsin-Madison. My past experience includes working with children and families doing early intervention, parent coaching, school social work, community and hospital social work as well as individual and small group counseling.
My style
I enjoy getting to know my client’s unique stories and learning how I can best support them through a compassionate, trauma informed, empowering and strengths based perspective. My goal is to create a space of validation and understanding of a client’s experience and supporting them in finding ways to address their needs and meet their goals. I do this through an education based approach, using strategies from cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness strategies and other strategies that may support growth and learning. I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey of self discovery, growth and wellness.
