Hello! I’m a therapist at We Rise Therapy and Wellness. I received my undergraduate degree from Wofford College and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. My experience includes providing mental health services working with a diverse population from various backgrounds, providing individual treatment, group therapy, crisis counseling, guided meditation/yoga groups, and psychoeducation at a psychiatric residential facility.

My Therapy Interests

My therapy areas are working with teenagers and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, acculturation/assimilation, multicultural issues, mood disorders, trauma, history of self harm, and intergenerational trauma. I also work with individuals with adjustment issues, life transitions, holistic wellness, meditation/mindfulness, women’s issues and LGBTQIA+ populations.

My style

My style is open, warm, collaborative, and compassionate. I use an integrative approach focused on what style works best for the strengths of my client. I like to use a narrative approach to understand your experiences and how it has evolved your perception of your environment then incorporating different evidence based approaches such as solution focused, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and dialectical behavioral therapy in addition to other approaches. Using these techniques to understand and unlearn thought patterns that can help build a better relationship with yourself. My goal is foster an environment where clients feel comfortable to open up and develop a therapeutic alliance to work together along the journey of reaching your treatment goals. I am passionate about this work and look forward to being a part of your journey in a way that aligns with you towards healing and growth.
